2. Managing contacts
Effective contact management is crucial for maintaining strong client relationships. Cone facilitates viewing, editing, and organizing your contacts
Editing
Edit contact details: Should any contact details change, easily update their information by navigating to the specific contact and clicking on the edit icon
Organizing
Filtering and Searching: Utilize Cone’s filtering options to sort through contacts, ensuring you can quickly find the contact information you need.
Deletion: If a contact is no longer relevant or incorrectly added, you have the option to delete them from a client, maintaining an up-to-date contact list
Merging
Merging contacts in Cone simplifies your client management by allowing you to combine information from multiple contacts into a single main contact. This process is designed to be flexible yet considers the relationships these contacts might have with existing proposals
When considering merging contacts, the following scenarios outline the conditions under which merging is possible
Scenario 1: No sent proposals
Conditions: If none of the selected contacts for merging are associated with proposals in the sent state
Process: Users can freely choose any contact as the main contact to merge others into. All information from merged contacts will be consolidated under the main contact chosen
Scenario 2: One contact with Sent
proposal
Conditions: If only one of the selected contacts is associated with a proposal in the sent state
Process:
The main contact must be the one with the proposal in the sent state
Attempting to set another contact as the main contact will result in an error message
Scenario 3: Multiple contacts with Sent
proposals
Conditions: If more than one of the selected contacts has proposals in the sent state
Process:
Merging is restricted. Contacts cannot be merged unless resolutions are made
Resolution: Proposals for all but one (or none) of the contacts must be recalled, ensuring only one contact (or none) is linked to proposals in the sent state
3. Contact actions
Beyond simple management, Cone empowers you to take direct actions with contacts, enhancing engagement and sales pipeline management
Creating proposals and deals:
Deal creation: Directly create a deal for a contact
Associating with a client: You can associate an existing contact with a new client
